Dodge City is well known these days by locals for its great Mexican fare. El Tianjon brings a delectable alternative in its Cuban menu. Although the restaurant is small, the local owner makes an extra effort to make anyone who visits to feel welcome. Service is excellent. The Appetizer Mix plate is recommended for those who want to try out plantains, double fried potatoes, pork kabobs. My wife had a ground beef pepper plate that I had a taste of and it was excellent. Very interesting mix of seasonings. Also can't go wrong with traditional pork sandwiches. Dinner menu is a little pricier than comparable Dodge City restaurants, but definitely worth a try.
